Development of packaging from composite materials for transportation and storage of ammunition

The basic requirements for packaging made from composite materials:

  • Containers should have a low thermal conductivity and to ensure the protection of being in her ammunition from open fire for at least 15 minutes when the temperature is raised to 500 ° C. This packaging design should eliminate the increase in temperature on the surface of the munition to 170 ° C;
  • Exposure in the water at a depth of 50 cm in 24 hours;
  • Resistance to direct precipitation (rain, snow, frost) with an intensity of up to 300 mm / h;
  • Resistance to solar radiation with an integral flux density 1125 W / m², UV – 68 W / m with a duration of exposure – 8 hours.
